I’ve been drawing since I was 16, and now I’m 30. I still love creating just as much. I’ve always thought: the world is already realistic enough. So why just transfer the same reality onto paper? I want to play with it.
“You do not find your world.
You build it.”
I stylize, change shapes and proportions, exaggerate, simplify, and create new forms. Even when I paint people on commission, I play a little with their features and show them not as they see themselves, but as I see them.
Because sometimes a woman doesn’t like what she sees in the mirror. But when someone else sees her as beautiful enough to paint, she can finally see that version of herself too.
My entire journey has been about lightness, finding comfort, and learning to value myself. I’ve never had strict expectations of myself or of life. I simply try things, experiment, play, and somehow, things always work out…
Life doesn’t have to be hard. And creating art doesn’t have to be hard either. That’s exactly what I want to teach you.
I don’t want you to be afraid of making mistakes or feel like you have to be “good enough” before you can call yourself an artist. There you will find your own way of seeing and create your own version of reality. Because when you stop trying to copy what already exists, you can finally start creating something that is yours.
